About Marjorie.

  Donna Moodie, Owner, Marjorie

Marjorie pays homage to owner Donna Moodie’s mom. A warm, welcoming hostess and inspired home cook, Marjorie delighted in bringing people together around the family table to enjoy delicious food and spirited conversation. Following Marjorie around the kitchen as a young girl growing up in Jamaica, Donna quickly gained respect for “scratch” cooking, supplied by local merchants and farmers whenever possible. Over her 20-year career as a restaurateur in Seattle, Donna continues to see to it that Marjorie’s passion for entertaining informs every detail of the restaurant named lovingly in her honor.
